The new program, S-CAPP helps students gain valuable soft skills that can help them in the workplace and also highlight on their resume. This project was given its name because it helps you move from enrollment in college to graduation (CAP and gown) to employment. You will receive four to five opportunities per semester to learn new skills. These sessions will be held once a lmonth on Saturdays from 8:30 AM- 12:30 PM. We kicked off on a special session on the DISC personality profile last month. We will offer classes on impression management by Professor Mullins and Listening by Professor Petty. These sessions are open to all students and completely FREE. There will be cookies and lemonade at the session. Students attending the sessions will recive a certificate of attendance/ completion of the following sessions. If you attend at least five sessions per academic year ( Combintion of fall 2016 and spring 2017 this academic year) then you will also receive a beautiful pin to wear on your cap and gown at graduation. For each acdemic year that you attend at least five sessions you will receive a pin each year. A picture will be attached to the pin.
